53rd National Day
Celebration of Cameroon

It was a pleasure for International Focus Magazine Monrovia Editor-in-Chief and former Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Liberia, Honorable Cynthia L. Blandford and me to attend the 53rd National Day Celebration of Cameroon on May 20th in Liberia following the kind invitation of H.E. Ambassador Beng’ Vela Augustine GANG and his wife. The event was truly festive, and it was wonderful to see in attendance the esteemed guests, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, The Honorable Sara Beysolow Nyanti,  Ambassador Dr. Indira Lopez Arguelles of Cuba, Ambassador Madam Isabelle Le Guellec of France, Ambassador Yin Chengwu of China and Ambassador Dominique Favre of Switzerland, among others.

As Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Liberia, H.E. Ambassador Beng’yela Augustine GANG gave a heartfelt speech of positive engagement between the Republic of Liberia and Cameroon.
