On Monday evening, October 25, Heidi PP was an invited guest at a wine-tasting mixer for Beviamo Wines at Sal Y Pimienta/ With more than fifty years of combined industry experience, Beviamo is proud not only of its Italian heritage and wines, but also of its international imports. Beviamo wines come from family-owned vineyards and are intended for those who know, understand and appreciate quality. The founders of Beviamo personally visited and explored the private vineyards and wineries to find wines not available in stores.
Co-founder Angelo Ferrari is also famous for being a magnificent international opera singer. Born in Brescia, Italy, Angelo’s passions include racing bikes, astonishing audiences in fine opera houses around the world and selecting great Italian wines. As co-founder of Beviamo, his fluency in the beautiful Italian language allows the company to source wines from the country’s most intimate native vineyards, unknown or inaccessible to major importers. He is the perfect host for wine-tasting events in fine restaurants or private homes.
After 10 years in the industry, ;pca; restaurateur Uruguay-born Gianfranco Percovich opened his new South American restaurant Sal y Pimienta. Sal y Pimienta is a casual South American concept with a name that translates literally to “salt and pepper.” When the meat is really good, all you need is salt and pepper. And pairing the perfect meat with a fine wine makes the evening memorable.
A good time was had by all, and we will be back often to enjoy the perfect steak and, oh yes, a glass of wine.
