Mr. Ahmad Alyasin, founder of Optima Financial and Optima Vitamins and philanthropist, honored the departing Consul General of Egypt with a farewell dinner at Gaucha Chama, Brazilian Steakhouse.

Heidi Powell Prera, Editor in Chief iF Magazine and founder Global Vision Contemporary, was invited to attend. Guests included honorable dignitaries, community leaders, and Consuls General of Indonesia, Turkey and Bangladesh.

Besides a gastronomic delight, the event provided an excellent opportunity for amiable networking and all those present seemed to enjoy the evening very much. After the dinner, the men retired to the patio to enjoy cigars and talk.

The consul and his wife were honored to be given such a farewell by the community. They spoke of how much they enjoyed their short term in Houston and look forward to visiting again soon. Cordial goodbyes were said with promises to meet again before their departure date.
