#KeepTheArtGoing 2021

Jeff Syptak from HTown Connections, Sami Khaleeq of CGS Digital Marketing , Craig Howard of the Ballroom at Bayou Place, and Jasmine Terry of Le Chateau invited us out to experience some of Houston’s diverse community of artists and entertainers right after Africa Day in Houston in May. The event was one of many events planned to fundraise and create opportunities for artists and entertainers in Houston. Mayor Sylvester Turner and his staff joined in the fun and dancing. The crowd was made up of community and nonprofit leaders who want to keep the art going in Houston. Many artists and entertainers came out to network and the energy was inspiring as they talked about ideas, events, and CREATIVITY! It was a beautiful scene. Artie Onayemi of the Conrad O’ Johnson Music and Fine Art Foundation who will be having their Annual Scholarship Brunch on August 29th was with Heidi Powell-Prera of iF Magazine and Global Vision Fine Art. We met the founder of Nap Bar Khaliah O. Guillory. The Nap Bar, the first white glove, self-care napping experience in Texas. It was a fabulous evening where connections were created and plans put into action. We are looking forward to a fabulous ART Season in Houston. Join us in our efforts to keeping creative ideas and dreams alive by spreading the word using the hashtag #KeepTheArtGoing
