In 2021, Honorable Cynthia L. Blandford was named as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Publisher in Atlanta, Georgia. Blandford is also the former Honorary Consul Republic of Liberia commissioned to the State of Georgia (2009-2023). She has a B.A. degree from Georgia State University, bringing a background in journalism, marketing and public relations to the magazine. Blandford was a lead marketeer with Delta Air Lines and Brussels Airlines promoting travel, trade, and tourism to Africa and she facilitated a Sister Airport Agreement between the Liberia Airport Authority and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Honorable Blandford also received the Global Image Award from Crusaders for Peace in 2009 and serves as President and Board Chair of the University Consortium for Liberia (UCL) and is a member of the AMEU Board of Trustees.

International Focus (iF) Magazine was founded by visionary leader Mr. Val Thompson, Publisher and Chief Executive Officer in 2015, in Houston, Texas. The magazine recently celebrated its eighth anniversary as a voice of international commentary. More recently published as a bimonthly publication, iF Magazine conducts an exclusive interview with an influential personality and publishes articles from top diplomatic, organizational, and business leaders who have knowledge and understanding of the international communities in which they serve. Mr. Thompson established the magazine as a key global platform for some of today’s rising stars in international affairs, analysis, and commentary in the United States and globally. Thompson received the World Affairs Council of Houston “Global Leader of Influence” Award in October 2022 and the Global Image Award for Golden Legendary Leadership from Liberia’s Crusaders for Peace in 2023 along with many awards and honors.

Samuel Nakronde Jlaka was born in Monrovia, Liberia and lived most of his life in Montserrado County, Liberia. He has chosen a professional career in the insurance industry and has acquired experience in the field for more than a decade. He is the owner and CEO of SN Intermediary Insurance Services and holds several insurance certificates, both locally and internationally. Sam is also a board member of Liberia’s Coconut Farmers and Buyers Union, a member of the Liberian Business Association (LIBA) and a board member of Siehnima Academia and Preparatory School System. Sam is also married to Mrs. Halrean Jlaka.
