Remember to Adopt, Don’t Shop!

First and Foremost, our Mission: Saving Fur Babies!
Known as “Queen of Fur Babies” by her fans and followers throughout the Houston region, Jimisu Balko founded “Jimisu & Her Beauties” with female empowerment in mind and those who share a compassion and love for animals.
The Houston-based 501(c) non-profit has been making leaps and bounds across Houston for over a decade. The organization has brought much awareness and continues to make a difference with the serious issue of animal hunger, cruelty and neglect through their modeling while promoting sophisticated, mature, intelligent women. The group participates in various events throughout the year to raise awareness and funds for abused and neglected animals. Their inaugural Annual “BEAUTIES ON THE GREEN” Charity Golf Tournament is scheduled for May 3rd at the beautiful Wildcat Golf Club.

They are in need of donations and sponsors in order to continue helping families with their pets. There are perks for sponsoring JAHB and donations are tax deductible. Send messages to:

Donations are used to cover adoption fees for families who may not otherwise be able to afford during the worst pandemic in our history! All dogs and cats are micro-chipped, vaccinated, and fixed.
About “Jimisu and Her Beauties” (JAHB)
In Jimisu’s own words:
“I started JAHB over a decade ago concentrating on homeless animals. We started out donating to no kill shelters and progressed to helping private families spay and neuter their pets. Our ‘No Birth is the 1st Step to No Kill’ program has prevented tens of thousands of unwanted births. Now we have one of the most successful adoption programs during the worst pandemic in our history.
“As with anyone I feel charity is monumental in our daily walk, so my heart is extended to the homeless animals. I want to promote and empower women and at the same time bring the much-needed attention to the conditions of animals facing abandonment, neglect, starvation and cruelty. It breaks my heart to witness some of the intolerable conditions and even death that some of our stray and abused animals have to endure.
“A few years back I wanted to create something that would promote women over 40 and at the same time use the profits from our modeling to save abused and abandoned animals which we lovingly call “fur babies”. It’s cute to see how the name has caught on. I can’t believe how well we are received and loved in Houston and surrounding areas!
“Being the founder of this organization has been such a wonderful and rewarding experience. I work around the clock to promote what I stand for and that is promoting women and saving animals. I would hope that people would say my legacy as the Queen of Fur Babies, was one that was spent helping to inspire other women to achieve their dreams and aspirations, no matter what their age, and bringing the much-needed attention to homeless animals and the need to get them spayed and neutered.”
About The Event
This event’s goal is to “Clear the Shelters”. Of the approximately 6.5 million companion animals who enter shelters nationwide every year, approximately 3.3 million are dogs and 3.2 million are cats. Each year, approximately 1.5 million animals are euthanized (670,00 dogs and 860,000 cats).
Your support will help save their lives and get them into loving homes. All proceeds of the event will be used to pay pet adoption fees and help with the cost to spay & neuter pets.
Sponsorship opportunities range from $150 hole sponsorships to $3,000 overall event sponsor.
