U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield’s visit to the City of Atlanta

Last month, The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, met with Mayor Andre Dickens, local leaders, and private-sector groups for a roundtable discussion at Microsoft. The discussion focused on food insecurity, highlighting Atlanta’s potential to tackle regional and international food issues.

Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield also participated in a tour of Clarkston Community Center, where MOIIA Director Paulina Guzman, Atlanta City Council Member Amir Farokhi, and other local leaders joined a discussion to highlight MOIIA’s work in combating food insecurity and empowering Atlanta’s foreign-born population through our Community Resource Events.
